The Art Clay Master Studio operates as a technical hub for metal clay excellence. Our curriculum is designed to transform creative potential into professional mastery through a tiered educational system. Under the technical direction of a Level 1 & 2 Master Instructor, we offer the only comprehensive path to international Art Clay World certification in the region.
Now based in Dubai, Nilgoon leverages her extensive background in silversmithing and Art Clay techniques to create pieces that are not merely adornments, but wearable sculptures. Her philosophy is rooted in the “slow-made” movement , ensuring every piece carries a distinct soul and a master’s touch.
The Educational Pathway
Level 01: Foundations
Objective: Introduction to the properties of .999 Fine Silver Clay.
Modules: Handling, shaping, and torch-firing basics.
Outcome: Completion of foundational pieces and an understanding of material shrinkage and density.
Level 02: Advanced Applications
- Objective: Integration of mixed media and precision tools.
- Modules: Syringe filigree, cork-clay hollow forms, and setting heat-resistant gemstones.
- Outcome: Technical proficiency in complex structural builds and kiln-firing protocols.
Level 03: Professional Instructor Certification
Objective: Official Art Clay World Level 1 & 2 Qualification.
Requirements: A rigorous portfolio-based program following the Aida Chemical Industries (Japan) standards.
Certification: Graduates receive a diploma co-signed by the Master Instructor and the official regional representative.
Nilgoon has served as a primary educator, mentoring and training a diverse cohort of students ranging from aspiring hobbyists to professional artisans.
2010: Official Level 1 & 2 Certification.
